Course Description
Introduction of Air Pollution is a subject that provides a broad overview of air pollution. It is a basic course that combines atmospheric science, pollution control and management. The main content of this course includes sources and classification of air pollutants, and their effects on human health, air quality and climate. In addition, investigation of the technologies for air pollution control and the mitigation strategies of air pollutants will be also provided
Course Objective
- Understanding the types, sources and causes of air pollution.
- Concepts for air pollutant monitoring, analysis and simulation.
- Knowledge of air pollutant control technology.
- Understanding air pollution regulations and considering mitigation strategies.
