Course Description
Nanotechnology is an emerging research field dedicated to realizing and understanding material structures of nanoscale size (0.1 to 100nm). It includes solid-state technology, material science, biotechnology, chemical science, and instrument that cover “top-down” and ”bottom-up” manner to create nanoscale structures. The commercially available products, novel inventions, and other ongoing development will also be introduced.
Course Objective
This course's objectives are to give students a comprehensive understanding of nanotechnology in history, theories, and various practical applications.
