Course Description
This course will introduce fundamental physical and chemical principals used in the design and operation of environmental unit processes. Students will conduct experiments on important topics including mass transfer, solid-liquid separation and adsorption. Other selected topics relevant to environmental research will also be discussed.
Course Objective
- Equip students with fundamental knowledge of physical and chemical principals in environmental engineering
- Allow students to have hands-on experiences for conducting experiments
- Prepare students with presentation skills and critical thinking
