Course Description
The course will introduce four electronic components—diodes, operational amplifiers, field-effect transistors (FETs), and bipolar junction transistors (BJTs)—covering their characteristics and related applications.
Course Objective
Students will learn the characteristics and applications of four key electronic components: the diode, operational amplifier, BJT, and MOSFET. The lab sessions will help students understand the instrument operation, measurement, and the applications of electronic components.
Lab outlines:
Introduction to lab equipment
Diode circuits
Op-amp-based voltage-controlled oscillator
BJT amplifiers
MOSFET applications
Pulse-width modulation and motor speed control
